Your Privacy Matters to Us (Privacy Policy)
At Ānandamaya Wellness, privacy is not just a policy — it is part of the sacred container we hold for your practice, healing, and self‑exploration. We recognise that the information you share with us is personal, and often connected to your body, health, and lived experience. We honour this trust with care, discretion, and integrity.
When you choose to practice with Ānandamaya, any personal details you provide are received in confidence and used only to support your wellbeing and participation. This includes contact information shared during booking, as well as information provided through consultation or intake forms.
We collect only what is necessary to:
- Support your safety and comfort during sessions
- Understand your individual needs, boundaries, and physical history
- Communicate clearly with you about your bookings, sessions, or relevant updates
- Create a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for your practice
Your personal information is handled mindfully and accessed only when required. We do not share, sell, or exchange your details with other practitioners, businesses, or organisations. Your journey at Anandamaya remains yours.
From time to time, we may reach out with gentle reminders, schedule updates, or offerings that align with our values and may support your ongoing wellness journey. You always remain in control — you may opt out of communications at any time.
Ānandamaya Wellness is a space of presence, trust, and conscious connection. Protecting your privacy is an essential part of creating a sanctuary where you can feel safe to arrive fully, breathe deeply, and practice with ease.
Your privacy is respected as deeply as your practice.
Wellness & Practice Disclaimer
Our practitioners are here to guide and support your practice, not to provide medical advice.
Sessions may include movement and, at times, gentle hands‑on guidance to support alignment. You always have full choice and autonomy in your practice.
Please honour your body, move within your own limits, and listen to what feels right for you.
Responsibility & Safety
At Anandamaya Wellness, we are committed to creating a calm, supportive, and safe environment where each person can explore their practice with presence and care. Yoga and wellness practices involve physical movement and self‑awareness, and with this comes shared responsibility between practitioner and participant.
We kindly ask that you inform your teacher or consultant of any injuries, health conditions, pregnancy, or other physical considerations before participating. This allows sessions to be adapted where possible to support your individual needs. Clients requiring rehabilitative support through yoga must provide appropriate medical clearance where required.
Our teachers and consultants do not provide medical advice. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to practise within your personal limits and to decide whether or not to follow any guidance or suggestions offered during sessions. We encourage you to listen deeply to your body, honour your boundaries, and rest whenever needed.
By attending sessions at Anandamaya Wellness, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical activity and agree that Anandamaya Wellness, its owners, contractors, and representatives are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage, whether occurring directly or indirectly as a result of participation.
Participants confirm that:
- All relevant health information has been disclosed
- Medical clearance has been obtained where appropriate
- They attend sessions sober and free from the influence of alcohol or substances that may impair safety or behaviour
For the safety and comfort of all, participants agree to act with respect and consideration for others. This includes refraining from disruptive behaviour, wearing offensive clothing, or bringing babies or small children into adult classes. Children under 14 attending adult classes must have written permission from a parent or guardian, and participants under 18 must provide signed consent from a legal guardian.
Participants acknowledge responsibility for their personal belongings and equipment. In the event of injury, accident, or illness, participants consent to receiving any medical treatment deemed necessary.
Anandamaya Wellness is a space of respect, mindfulness, and inclusivity. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to refuse participation or service where behaviour, safety, or wellbeing standards are not upheld, in order to maintain the integrity and safety of the space for all.
General Conditions
Anandamaya Wellness reserves the right to amend services, schedules, and pricing without prior notice. Participation constitutes acceptance of all terms outlined above.
A Final Note
Anandamaya Wellness may occasionally adjust class schedules, offerings, or pricing. By participating in our services, you agree to these terms and help us maintain a supportive and respectful community.
